the pott'd kit was great, my girlfriend loved it and we had a great time painting, i would like an option to choose paint markers instead of brushes due to my lack of ability to paint but other than that it was great!

Yes, they are. Our ceramics and paints are tested to strict UK/EU safety standards, including EN71 for child safety and BS 6748 for food use. Just be sure not to paint the rim or the inside of the mug, as noted in our instructions. The ceramics are pre-fired and home-oven baking won’t affect their safety when used as directed. Air dry clay typically takes around 24 to 48 hours to dry completely, depending on the thickness of your creation and the room temperature / humidity. To help your clay dry evenly, place it on a clean, flat surface in a well-ventilated area and avoid direct sunlight or heat sources, which can cause cracking. Once dry, your piece will feel firm to the touch and be ready for painting or sealing.
