A beginner potter here! I was impressed with how the pottery kit looked on Instagram and thus, I had to order it for me and my partner! The kit has everything! The clay is good enough for two people and we were able to make multiple small pieces. The tools are useful and the guide helps you to make what you want (to some extent). What we struggled with is that the designs shown for the vase looked super easy but were super hard to make exactly the way shown. The walls of the vase kept falling inwards even though we had a thick layer of clay. Thus, we were a bit disappointed on how the vase turned out. But overall, we realised that the designs shown on Instagram were mostly made by professionals and that we are not as good as them 😉
One thing that disappointed me is the pigmentation of the paints. Since I selected the Pastel Paints, I had to put 4 layers of paint to make it look vibrant!! That took a lot of time. It took us 4 days to get four layers of paint as we had to wait after each coat.
Overall, a fun activity but be mindful that it takes a total of 3-4 days to get your final piece and thus patience is key 😉

Die Beschenkte hat sich gefreut. Das Set ist schön verpackt und sehr umfangreich. Zur Qualität kann ich noch nichts sagen, da es noch nciht benutzt wurde.
Wir haben das Set für eine datenight gekauft und hatten beide sehr viel Spaß. Das Material hat sich gut verarbeiten lassen und auch die Farben haben sich leicht auftragen lassen.Schade ist, dass der Ton nicht komplett wasserfest ist, das ist bei selbsttrocknendem Ton anscheinend immer so. Also Pflanztöpfe, Utensilien die mit Lebensmittel in Kontakt gebracht werden sollte man damit nicht machen, eher nur Dekoartikel.Tolles Produkt für den etwas anderen Abend!
I was worried that there wouldn’t be enough clay for a group of 10, but it was perfect for everyone to make some small clay trinquet trays or figures! Would buy again!
